Episode 07: The Road

In this episode, the Chicks take on 2009’s The Road.  This is the last flick in the Chicks’ John Hillcoat trilogy.  Set in an unspecified post-apocalyptic future, it is heavy on the drama and very light on the action – and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.   The flick stars: Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

In addition to post-apocalyptic musings, this episode is also chock full of other stuff including: YA novels, Cronenberg(s), Underrated Jake Gyllenhaal, Hannibal Lecter, and David Duchovny. See, friends, this is what happens when the Chicks don’t see each (let alone record a podcast) in over a month!
